There are two types of information collected by Gabriel Media. This includes both PII and non-personally identifiable information. Also important to note, your entry in contests may provide Gabriel Media with additional rights to use information gathered from your entry, as contests generally have their own official rules that govern your participation.
There may also be instances when you submit PII of other individuals. Examples include nominating a person for an award or purchasing a gift. Gabriel Media will not use this information for anything except the exclusive purpose of your submission.

Gabriel Media will not willfully provide your PII to any third party without your express permission. Gabriel Media does not sell, rent, or trade PII with non-affiliated third parties. Our use of your PII is limited to the actions described in previous sections. PII may be used for internal purposes such as marketing, promotions, fundraising, and other purposes. Gabriel Media will make a good faith effort to provide an explanation of our use when your PII is voluntarily provided. If you prefer your information is not used for these purposes you have the right to opt-out. Opting-out however may limit or prevent your participation in the activity that requires PII. Gabriel Media also do not provide mailing lists or any other release of PII to other companies or entities for their own use. Personally Identifiable Information:
Gabriel Media does not store information including user passwords and financial information. Other information that can identify you may be used as described in previous sections. Your PII is used only for the purposes of Gabriel Media and its affiliates. You may be contacted by Gabriel Media or its affiliates as described. If you do not permit your information to be used by Gabriel Media or its affiliates as described, you may opt-out through the digital platform or in writing to Gabriel Media.
Any information containing financial information to process a pledge or purchase a ticket will be securely encrypted. Gabriel Media will provide reasonable and industry-standard security measures. Your information will not be stored by Gabriel Media unless expressly permitted and for good reason.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information:
Information that does not personally identify you will be used at the discretion of Gabriel Media. However that use is limited to the purposes of improving user experience, notifying users about contests or events, and helping Gabriel Media better understand its audience. No non-personally identifiable information collected will be sold or otherwise provided to third-party vendors.
Gabriel Media will abide by the laws specified through the CAN-SPAM Act. This act provides the standard practices for commercial email and provides rights to the owner of the email address.
In accordance with CAN-SPAM, Gabriel Media will only collect your email address to:
- Provide information; respond to inquiries, requests, or questions.
- Process orders and provide information and updates pertaining to orders
- Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails
In accordance with CAN-SPAM, Gabriel Media will abide by and agree to the following:
- Use no false or misleading subjects or email addresses
- Reasonably Identify the message as an advertisement
- Monitor third party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
- Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly
- Allow users to unsubscribe through a link at the bottom of each email

Gabriel Media takes the security of data provided to us very seriously. Gabriel Media has implemented physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the information is being used in a proper manner.
6. What If There Is A Data Breach?
Gabriel Media follows the guidelines set by the Fair Information Practices Act. This act demonstrates the core of United States privacy law. To remain compliant with the Fair Information Practices Act, Gabriel Media will take immediate responsive action in the event of a data breach. Gabriel Media will notify users affected in a timely manner, not more than seven business days.
7. Do You Have Guidelines Regarding Children’s Privacy?
Because the various digital platforms of Gabriel Media are intended for a general audience, Gabriel Media does not knowingly capture or store information about children under the age of 13. Gabriel Media also ensures that any areas of our digital platforms that are intended for children under the age of 13 comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). COPPA is enforced he Federal Trade Commission and dictates what website operators and online services are required to do to protect the privacy and safety of children online.
Any use or interaction with Gabriel Media including its digital platforms constitutes an acceptance of and agreement with the terms and conditions stated in this policy. If there are any areas of this policy in which you don’t agree with, Gabriel Media asks that you do not interact with Gabriel Media or its digital platforms. Gabriel Media reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time without notice. 9. Important Notices
It is important to remember that any personal information shared through a public feature may become public. An example would be posting a comment on our website and including your email address. Gabriel Media is not responsible for publicly shared PII.
Also, should Gabriel Media be required by law to provide your information, including any personal or payment information, Gabriel Media will share to whatever extent needed to comply with the request.
