Ecclesia Domestica: Women on a Mission
From 7:00 pm to 8:30 pmWomen on a Mission is a 90-minute gathering on Friday evenings, featuring speakers who address topics important to Catholic women. The evening ends with praise, prayers, and fellowship. This gathering will feature Deacon Peter Bellavance, and he will be speaking on the will of the Father, with the Blessed Mother as a model. Friday, October 27th at 7 p.m. Saint Andrew Catholic Church and School Gym (566 4th Street NW, Elk River, MN 55330) Deacon Pete was ordained in the Hartford, CT Archdiocese in 1990 and has also served bishops in Buffalo, NY, Charleston, SC, Minneapolis/St. Paul, St. Cloud, and now the Crookston Diocese. He’s co-leading the Eucharistic Revival Initiative while working at Sacred Heart Parish in Frazee and Assumption Parish in Callaway. He also visits the sick and homebound, plus providing spiritual direction. His long career took him across several states, delivering corporate-level information technology help in the food distribution industry. Deacon Pete has been married 48 years with 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and 30 foster children through the years. He’s provided spiritual direction and leadership the past seven years with Ecclesia Domestica, and has been a speaker at Ecclesia retreats.
