Join in for a series of thought-provoking movie screenings focused on raising awareness and fostering understanding about dementia. There will be a panel discussion after each movie. This event is organized by the Greater St. Cloud Dementia Friends Community, bringing communities together to support and learn. Refreshments will be provided. The first of the two movies will be shown on Thursday, April 11th, at the Sauk Rapids Rice Middle School CAC – Door 1 (901 1st St S, Sauk Rapids). The documentary “Keys, Bags, Names, Words: Hope in Aging with Dementia” is about people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias who share stories of heartbreak and hope in aging. Don’t miss the powerful new international film that explores ways we can protect our brain health, connect with our loved ones, and live a higher quality of life, even after dementia. Can’t make it in person? Join the virtual watch party via Zoom to connect with others from the comfort of your home. Link will be provided upon registration. On-site respite care is available in a private room with care provided by A Home for the Day – Adult Day Center. Bring your loved one.
