Make A Difference - Support K•yes Catholic Radio

K•yes Catholic Radio and Relevant Radio® are listener supported!

Our programming and operations are dependent on the generosity of our listeners and sponsors. K∙yes is the entity that allows you to receive Relevant Radio™ on your local radio dial, and also provides you with local programming. When you give to Relevant Radio™, you are supporting the national programming. When you give to K∙yes, you are supporting keeping that programming on your radio. K∙yes sometimes receives a portion of that Relevant Radio™ donation though not in all cases. Please consider supporting BOTH Relevant Radio™ AND K∙yes Catholic Radio in order to continue receiving this blend of local and national programming on your radio dial. To give to K∙yes Catholic Radio directly and help keep us on air, fill out the form below.

Cash or Cash Equivalent

A gift of cash is the simplest way to give. Cash gifts may be given as: (1) a one-time payment, (2) a pledge to be fulfilled at a later date or over a specified period of time (e.g. monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) or (3) a recurring (continuous) gift given at regular intervals (e.g. monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) without an end date.  Payment options include check or other cash equivalent, including credit/debit card charges, ACH bank transfers and physical delivery of cash.

Ready to make a donation? It's simple and secure.

Ways to Support K•yes Catholic Radio

Relevant Radio™ has on-air pledge drives four times a year. With the funds raised during these pledge drives, K∙yes sometimes receives a portion of the donations and sometimes does not. To keep the programming you love on your radio, please consider a donation directly to K∙yes each time you donate to Relevant Radio™. Either split your donating between us both or consider a matching donation to K∙yes.

Other Giving Options

Gifts of Marketable Securities (Stocks – Mutual Funds)

Transferring a gift of long-term appreciated stocks, those owned for more than one year, can provide significant tax advantages by allowing you to deduct the fair market value while paying no capital gain tax.  Today, most stock transfers are easily made electronically from your broker account to K•yes Catholic Radio.  Please contact K•yes at 320-257-9700 if you would like to know more.

Selling your stocks first and donating the proceeds may cause you to miss out on these tax benefits. Selling depreciated stock and donating the proceeds may also be tax advantageous to some, since you can generally claim the reduced value as a “loss” in your tax filing, in addition to the income deduction for the cash proceeds. We highly recommend you seek the guidance of a professional financial planner/advisor, attorney or accountant to determine the arrangements that best serve your financial needs and philanthropic goals.

Whether you are electronically transferring stock, mailing a stock certificate or giving a mutual fund gift, please notify us.  Knowledge of your gift allows us to track its progress, assign your gift correctly and provide you with an acknowledgment letter for your tax records.

Direct Gifts from Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

The US Code, Sec. 408(d)(8), permits “qualifying charitable distributions” from traditional IRA or Roth IRA accounts to be excluded from gross income. This is great news for those who must take a “required minimum distribution” but who do not want to add to their taxable income for the year. If you own an IRA and are 70 ½ or older, you can make a tax-free transfer of up to $100,000 a year to K•yes Catholic Radio.

Requirements and benefits:

  • Donors must be at least 70½ years old on the date of the gift.
  • The IRA Custodian (trustee) must transfer your gift directly to K•yes Catholic Radio.
  • Up to $100,000 per IRA owner may be contributed each year.
  • Donors recognize no taxable income on the transfer.
  • While the charitable distribution cannot be claimed an income tax deduction, it also is not used in calculating the percentage limitation on charitable contributions. For some donors, this may be the most significant tax benefit of making a charitable IRA distribution rather than a direct contribution to K•yes Catholic Radio.
  • The gift can count toward the IRA owner’s required minimum distribution.
  • The gift must be made by December 31 to qualify for the current tax year.

"Why I Support K•yes Catholic Radio"

  • Rebecca

Thank you for making Catholic Radio available to us. It has been life changing for our marriage and family!

  • Bishop Patrick M. NearyBishop of the Diocese of St. Cloud

May God bless the evangelizing work of K•yes in bringing people closer to Christ. Our world needs, in the words of our Holy Father, "communication that kindles hearts, that is balm on wounds and that shines light on the journey of our brothers and sisters." I am grateful for the ministry of K•yes and its efforts to do this each and every day.

  • StephenSartell

One of the things I most enjoy about K•yes is that it is proclaiming TRUTH! I love the variety of speakers. In a world that is inundated with false talk, and selfish living, K•yes Catholic radio is our compass in moral teaching and living.

  • RoseBowlus

I am learning a lot about my catholic faith and am lifted up by the power of the Holy Spirit through this ministry of K•yes radio. I love experiencing the power of prayers through the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I most enjoy the feeling of communion/community of faith. K•yes reinforces the values of the faith I was raised in. It gives me hope that as a person who has made many mistakes in my life, I can still move forward in my faith journey knowing Jesus still welcomes me.

I don't have a lot of time to listen to K•yes, at least I didn't think I did. I discovered it's worth "finding time".
I enjoy The Divine Mercy Chaplet, Glen Lewerenz interviews. Also, I LOVE the Patrick Madrid show. From him, I have learned not only facts about my Faith, but also points on "how to" dialogue with those who view things differently from me.
I have learned so much more about my faith. My prayer life has improved by praying WITH other listeners during the Divine Mercy Chaplet & the Rosary

  • BradPaynesville

I enjoy hearing from priests and faithful laypeople talking about our faith on K•yes and living it.  That they answer many questions pertaining to our faith and how the hosts hear and pray for listeners who call in and share their story.  The Divine Mercy Chaplet also has a profound effect on me. I didn't know anything about Divine Mercy before and now I even read most of her diary.  I also like praying along with the family rosary and how it is more involved.  I've been seeking Christ for a while now and upon finding K•yes it has helped me grow even closer to our Lord in faith and understanding.
